Dr. Abe Van Beveren
After having worked for several years at another high-quality veterinary hospital in New Jersey, Dr. Abe joined MVH in early 2003. He graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 but is a native of NJ and lives in Bernardsville. In addition to treating dogs and cats, Dr. V has a special interest in small mammals, birds and reptiles. When not at the hospital he enjoys fishing, motorcycling and spending time with his three cats, Pooh, Cosmo and Rufus and his pet skunk, Ike.
Dr. Barbara Day
Dr. Barbara Day is a 1982 graduate of The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine, and has been at MVH since 1988. Her major interest is in the Human-Companion Animal Bond. She is MVH's ombudsman and has been involved in the inception and implementation of many of our community outreach programs including our Dog Bite Awareness Program. A long-time Madison resident, Dr. Barbara has been active in many municipal activities including the YMCA and local church. She currently is a Board member of St Hubert's Giralda Humane Association and enjoys her Running Club and spending time with her two teenagers.
