Dr. Wende Saunders

Dr. Wende Saunders

A born and bred Canadian, Dr. Wende Saunders obtained her veterinary degree in 1986 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Having practiced in Canada for two years she then spent the next fifteen years working in London, England where she became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

Dr. S. joined MVH in May 2004, and is continuing to pursue her interest in holistic medicine with the study of the use of herbs in pets leading to a certification in Herbal Medicine. Currently living in Madison with partner Bill, and their cat Tui, she enjoys art, jazz, hiking and the design and manufacture of stained glass.

Dr. Nancy Shaw

Dr. Nancy Shaw

Dr. Nancy Shaw joined MVH in 1988. She is a 1984 graduate of the Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine, and completed her internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in Bergen County. Her particular interest is in Internal Medicine of dogs and cats. Dr. N is a native of Endwell, NY, but now lives in Denville with husband John, their two children Jimmy and Maggie, and many pets. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and jazz.

Dr. Sharon Hubby

Dr. Sharon Hubby

Dr. Sharon Hubby is a native of Philadelphia and a 1992 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. She completed her internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in small animal medicine and surgery and joined MVH in 1995. She has since become an expert in veterinary nutrition. Dr. S. has lived in Madison for the past fifteen years with her husband Edwin, and her two children McKenzie and Pierson. Her hobbies are downhill skiing, horseback riding and hiking with her Springer Spaniel Ripple.

Dr. Mark Skeels / Dr. Lindquist

Ultrasonographers "par excellence", they have been doing MVH's imaging for over 15 years. With over $100,000 of sophisticated equipment, Dr. S. and Dr. L. perform with rare skill and knowledge. The recent addition of Color-Doppler Scanning has really helped with the advanced diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Both doctors are Board-Certified specialists and they also perform our ultrasound-guided organ biopsies as well as endoscopic examinations and biopsies.
